This week, on Friday, will be the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Holy Masses will be celebrated at 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, at the end of which we will pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Bishop Ferenc Palánki is awaiting the priests and faithful of our diocese for the St. Ladislaus Day celebration on 28/06/2024, Saturday, in Nyírcsaholy. The Holy Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. A bus will depart for the event at 9:00 AM from the car park next to the co-cathedral. You can register in the parish office and the sacristy by paying a fee of 2000 Ft/person.
In a week from today, Sunday, will be the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles. The usual Sunday Mass schedule will be in effect at the co-cathedral. On this day, the collection plate offerings, or Peter's Pence, will be collected for the benefit of the Holy See.
The technical survey of the co-cathedral's grand organ has begun, and its renovation will start in the near future. The Bishop is generously supporting the project, but we would also like to provide our own resources. We ask for everyone's generous donations. Leaflets about the organ can be found next to the exhibition about the organ at the entrance to the church.
