The Our Lady of Hungary Roman Catholic Parish of Nyíregyháza is organising a residential summer camp
for children in school years 3-8 who attend Roman Catholic religious education classes.
Camp dates: 08/07/2024 (Monday) – 13/07/2024 (Saturday) (6 days, 5 nights).
Camp location: Simai Youth Camp and Guesthouse
Age group: Children in school years 3 to 8.
Meals: three meals a day.
The programme starts with lunch on Monday and ends with breakfast on Saturday.
Travel: Return travel and excursions during the camp will be by hired coach.
Camp programme: Many games, excursions in the Zemplén Mountains, quizzes, number war, swimming.
The children will be supervised by catechists from our parish during the camp.
A qualified medical professional will also be present during the camp.
Participation fee: 60,000 HUF per person, which includes the costs of travel, accommodation, three meals a day, and entrance fees.
The full cost of the camp is 120,000 HUF per person. As this would be a significant burden for families, we will cover part of the costs with parish and diocesan support.

How to apply: By registering on the website rendezveny.mnaplebania.hu and subsequently paying a 20,000 HUF deposit.
The deposit can be paid to the organiser, György Kardos, at the parish office (Kossuth tér 4.) on Fridays between 14:00 and 18:00.

Registration alone does not guarantee a place in the camp without payment of the deposit!
